The Fire Station of the Future

June 10 – 12, 2027
MESSE Dortmund

COMPREHENSIVE AND INFORMATIVE: FOCUS ON Planning & Construction

One of the key topics at the upcoming 112RESCUE is the planning and construction of fire stations. The focus will not only be on talks and panel discussions on the Main Stage, but also on an exhibition area featuring industry stakeholders (architects, construction companies, suppliers, software firms, and others). A special highlight will be the presentation of an architecture award for innovative fire stations in Germany on Friday, June 11, 2027. The most innovative fire station in all of Germany will be honored. The application period will open in the fall of 2026, and a panel of experts will evaluate the designs.

As early as 2025, this topic was a key focus at 112RESCUE. Panels were held on the Main Stage that were relevant not only to professional fire departments but also to volunteer fire departments.

Contributors included, among others: Stefan Meidl (author and expert in the planning and construction of fire stations), Bernd Klaedtke (Cologne Fire Department), architects (Gaus Architekten, Kempen, and Kleinheyer), and exhibiting companies (Alpgate & Safe Fire House)

Planning & Construction

The Planning & Construction focus area is centrally located in Hall 6. Architects, engineers, consulting firms and start-ups can secure a participation package within the shared Planning & Construction area.
