112RESCUE 2025: Future technologies for rescue, civil protection and medical technology

Top-class exhibitors show the latest trends in rescue services, rescue robotics and modern emergency vehicles

112RESCUE will take place in the Dortmund exhibition halls from June 26 to 28, 2025. The trade fair is the central meeting place for fire protection, rescue services, disaster control and civil protection. It presents a comprehensive range of innovative solutions for civil protection and medical technology. A special highlight is the opening of the trade fair with presentations on amok and threat situations.

Dortmund, 20.06.2025 – Numerous exhibitors from established manufacturers such as Stryker to up-and-coming start-ups such as Optic Barrier will be presenting pioneering technologies. The focus will be on current trends in medical technology, rescue robotics and technical innovations relating to emergency vehicles and the construction of fire stations. Presentations on the current rampage at a school in Graz (2025), the terrorist attack in Solingen (2024) and the Hamas attack (2023) are expected at the opening of the trade fair on Thursday (26.06.2025). The contributions will be made from the perspective of the rescue organization United Hatzalah.

Wide range of medical technology in Hall 4

On all three days of the trade fair, 112RESCUE will present a remarkable range of medical technology. Exhibitors such as Regina Lange Medizintechnik, Hum, IP Heater, Intersurgical, Notarztbörse, INM Arnsberg, BAK Mettmann, Stollenwerk and Dahlhausen will be presenting a diverse selection of solutions and products from all areas of medical technology. New this year, for the first time with their own stand, are the manufacturer of medical devices Stryker and the Hilfswerk für Bevölkerungsschutz und Katastrophenhilfe privater Rettungsdienste Nordrhein-Westfalen e.V. (HBK e.V.).

Modern decontamination systems for everyday use

The 112RESCUE outdoor area also offers important insights into the current challenges of civil protection. A key topic here is decontamination, particularly with regard to the increasing risk of cancer for emergency services due to contaminated environments. The specialist deconta will be presenting a modern container vehicle system that offers innovative solutions for effective decontamination on site.

Hall 5: Ideas, impulses and innovations

Another highlight is the “Research & Future” area with an Open Stage in Hall 5, where start-ups, research institutions and technology providers will showcase current developments, ideas and products in a direct exchange with trade visitors. In addition to the varied supporting program, there will be exhibitors such as Synch from Israel and Wikutec, who will focus on pioneering approaches. An interesting newcomer this year is the Austrian start-up Optic Barrier, which is presenting an innovative visual protection system for safety-relevant areas of application.

The rescue and detection dog team RHOT Bochum-Essen will also be represented for the first time at 112RESCUE in Hall 5. Visitors will have the opportunity to learn more about the training, areas of operation and the important role of search dogs in civil protection – complemented by impressive demonstrations by the team.

German Rescue Robotics Center

The German Rescue Robotics Center (DRZ) and its partner companies, including Eurocommand, Telerob, Angatec and Alpharobotics, will be presenting innovative solutions in the field of rescue robotics. The focus will be on autonomous ground and aerial robot systems that efficiently support and relieve the burden on rescue teams in reconnaissance and operational situations. There will be live demonstrations in the areas for flight and ground robotics.

Another focus of the trade fair will be on technical rescue: Weber Rescue will be demonstrating realistic rescue scenarios and state-of-the-art rescue technology at a specially set up crash facility in the outdoor area. The range will be complemented by Dräger, which will be presenting advanced systems for technical rescue in Hall 5.

Focus on future-oriented technologies

In the area of road safety, the German Road Safety Council (DVR) will be focusing on modern approaches on the forecourt of Messe Dortmund. In the emergency vehicle segment, visitors can expect to see numerous well-known manufacturers and retrofitters, including LUEG, Desautel, GSF, WISS, Schlingmann, elbe Sonderfahrzeugbau and BTL, demonstrating their latest developments. Iturri is bringing a product premiere, the Paderborn fire department’s electric truck, to the trade fair. The technology company MiniTec will be presenting a newly developed roll container that has been specially designed for use in off-road terrain.

Construction and planning of fire stations – specialist meeting point in Hall 6

In Hall 6, visitors will find a central point of contact for everything to do with the planning and construction of fire stations. Among others, Alpgate, Safe Fire House, divera and the construction company Bremer, which have experience in the field of functional and mission-oriented buildings, will be there. A highlight in this hall is the specially set up Info Point Fire Houses. The Info Point offers the opportunity for meet & greets with renowned architects such as Kempen & Kleinheyer, Gaus and Stefan Meidl from the Munich Fire Brigade. The topic will be explored in greater depth on Friday morning as part of various panel discussions on the Main Stage.
