112RESCUE 2025: More than just a trade fair – a meeting place for technology, tactics and team spirit

Trade fair in Dortmund presents a multifaceted program from 26 to 28 June – new formats for protective equipment, robotics days and exchange in the N4 crisis management network
From June 26 to 28, 2025, 112RESCUE will once again bring together decision-makers from the fire protection, rescue, disaster and civil protection sectors at Messe Dortmund. With new formats such as daily fashion shows for protective clothing and the “Women in Rescue” corner, the trade fair will focus more than ever on interdisciplinary exchange. Other highlights include the DRZ Rescue Robotics Days and the cross-border crisis management network N4, which will meet at the trade fair on June 26, 2025 to further intensify cross-border exchange.
Dortmund, 29.04.2025 – At 112RESCUE from June 26 to 28, 2025, participants will have the opportunity to find out about innovative technologies and new procedures in civil protection and emergency response and to make valuable contacts. In addition, the trade fair’s wide-ranging specialist program promotes interdisciplinary dialogue and reflects the diversity of all areas.
Highlights of 112RESCUE in June
“Women in Rescue” Corner / “WIR” Corner
Since the first edition of the trade fair, 112RESCUE has honored outstanding personalities with the “Women in Rescue” award. With the newly created meeting point “Women in Rescue” Corner in Hall 6, female emergency services personnel in the blue light scene now have their own area for promotion, equal rights, information and exchange.
Premiere: Fashion shows for specific deployment scenarios and protective clothing
Suppliers of high-quality protective clothing and personal protective equipment (PPE) will be showcasing their latest products for the safety and health of emergency services personnel for the first time. Fashion shows will take place in the mornings and afternoons on all three days of the trade fair (Main Stage in Hall 6).
N4: Leveraging synergies through German-Dutch cooperation (26.06.2025)
The N4 crisis management network, which was founded in 2021, will also meet at 112RESCUE on June 26, 2025 to further intensify the exchange. N4 is a cooperation between responsible partners from the Dutch safety regions and the German districts, independent cities and district governments close to the border. The regional cooperation is also supported by the Dutch Commissioners of the King of the Border Provinces. N4 stands for Network Netherlandsand NRW Non-PoliceCrisis Management. The aim of the cooperation is to promote an effective exchange of information in emergency response in the event of incidents such as floods, fires and diseases, which can quickly affect neighboring countries close to the border. In addition, N4 particularly supports the mutual transfer of knowledge, joint exercises for emergencies and the exchange of specialist experience.
Campus Rescue Services
Numerous providers from the fields of medical technology and rescue services will be exhibiting in Hall 4. For the first time, the North Rhine-Westphalia Relief Organization for Civil Protection and Disaster Assistance of Private Rescue Services (HBK NRW), founded in 2022, will be located adjacent to the campus. It provides information about selfless assistance for victims and those affected by major disasters, natural disasters, armed conflicts and related emergencies.
DRZ Rescue Robotics Days (Hall 6)
In cooperation with the German Rescue Robotics Center (DRZ), the Expert Forum for Rescue Robotics brings together users, research institutes and companies from the civil emergency response sector. In addition to a demonstration area for flight robotics, there will also be an area for ground robotics. Interested parties will also receive further input in an exhibition and meet up to talk shop in the DRZ networking area.
