112RESCUE impresses with a strong program for the specialist community

Expert presentations, practical workshops, innovative solutions and the latest developments all in one place

From June 26 to 28, 2025, 112RESCUE will once again be the central platform for future-relevant topics in fire protection, rescue services, disaster control and civil protection in Dortmund’s exhibition halls. The trade fair offers a comprehensive overview of the market. In addition, there is now a fixed specialist program that impresses with innovative solutions, practice-oriented workshops and realistic demonstrations.

Dortmund, 21.05.2025 – In addition to numerous exhibitors, 112RESCUE offers visitors a diverse supporting program: from interactive demonstrations on road safety and vehicle rescue to current topics such as amok and threat situations or the construction of new fire stations. The renowned experts include communication professionals such as Juliane Weiß, Dr. Rolf-Dieter Erbe (Berlin Fire Department), Prof. Dr. Raphael Röttinger and Dov Maisel from United Hatzalah (Israel).

MAIN STAGE (Hall 6) → To the program overview on the website

Exciting presentations and panels on the topics of extreme weather events, the future of procurement and tips on (crisis) communication will be open to all visitors on the main stage. The program will be moderated by Marcel Kilic, known from the popular podcast Blaulichthelden.

Main topic: Amok and threat situations (Hall 6)

This year, the focus will be on everything to do with amok and threat situations. In particular, the Solingen attack in 2024 and the Hamas terrorist attack on Israel in October 2023 will be addressed. These events put the spotlight on issues relating to the prevention and management of such crisis situations. Dov Maisel, Director of Operations at United Hatzalah, will share his experience from over 30 years in the emergency services.

Communication in threat situations – experts in dialog (Hall 6)

Effective communication in threat situations is crucial for a rapid and coordinated response. Prof. Dr. Raphael Röttinger, an expert in crisis management, and Stephen Köppe (Lecturer for Special Tasks in Leadership Science and Operations Management, Berlin School of Economics and Law) will discuss communication in threat situations and, above all, cooperation between the respective units. In a specialist panel on crisis communication, Dr. Rolf-Dieter Erbe and Juliane Weiß will provide insights into their experiences of effective information management in exceptional situations.

Friday morning in focus: Development and construction of sheds (Hall 6)

On Friday morning, a three-part program session will focus on the topic of “Development and construction of equipment sheds”. Experts from the fire department, architecture and subcontracting will shed light on the various phases: from initial planning and collaboration with architects through to structural implementation. The social aspect will also come into focus.

Fashion shows on all three days of the fair (Hall 6)

Two fashion shows will take place on each day of the trade fair, where the latest emergency clothing for rescue services will be presented. Numerous brands and companies take part in the demonstrations and show the latest trends and innovations in the industry.

Open Stage RESEARCH & FUTURE (Hall 5)

Inspiring presentations on new approaches, innovative technologies and procedures that will make our society even more resilient to crises and disasters in the future will enrich the agenda. There will also be career pitches on Friday and Saturday.

Live and hands-on: interactive demonstrations (Hall 4)

Organized by Blaulichtkanal – an information platform for the fire department, disaster control, rescue services and police – brand ambassadors will be demonstrating practical exercises. For the first time, the German Road Safety Council will also be exhibiting on the subject of road safety on the forecourt of the trade fair. A truck rollover simulator, a seatbelt sled and a mobile driving simulator will be presented.

“Specialist congress on rescue and emergency medicine”

As part of 112RESCUE, various workshops will take place on the first day of the trade fair. The symposium on the basics of preclinical emergency medicine and emergency care will follow on Friday (June 27). Participation is free of charge. More information: Congress Rescue & Emergency Medicine

Symposium “Tactical situations in the rescue service”

On June 26, 2025, the congress will offer a unique platform for background information, strategies and tactics for threat situations and is the largest civilian event of its kind in the German-speaking world. On the day before, various info sessions will deal with violent crime and terror threats from the perspective of the emergency services.
