112RESCUE presents innovative concepts and best practices for amok and threat situations

21. May 2026

Central industry meeting provides new approaches, solutions and plenty of know-how transfer

From June 26 to 28, 2025, the 3rd edition of 112RESCUE will once again be all about fire protection, rescue services and disaster and civil protection. The established information and trade fair offers a 360° exhibitor portfolio and a valuable specialist program. The focus will be on strategies and measures for prevention, early detection, intervention and the use of modern technologies.

Dortmund, 10.06.2025 – According to a study by the Federal Criminal Police Office (BKA), the number of rampages and threat situations has risen sharply in the last ten years. The number of reported rampages in Germany alone has almost doubled between 2010 and 2020. Events at schools and in public places are particularly worrying. Terrorist threats also increased continuously across Europe between 2015 and 2025, according to studies by the European Union, the Global Terrorism Database (GTD) and the Federal Office for the Protection of the Constitution (BfV). This is precisely what makes amok and threat situations the greatest challenges for emergency and rescue services around the world.

From June 26 to 28, 2025, 112RESCUE will present a unique range of information on the latest technologies and strategies for acting effectively and safely to protect the population in such situations. The importance of innovative tracking technology and the use of bodycams will be highlighted, as will the role of tactical medicine, which is becoming increasingly important. As a cross-industry hub, the trade fair brings together all the players involved under one roof and pools their expertise for the protection and safety of the population.

9th Symposium on Tactical Situations in the Rescue Service 2025

The “Taktische Lagen im Rettungsdienst 2025” congress, organized by S+K-Verlag, will take place at the same time as 112RESCUE. The largest civilian event of its kind in the German-speaking world will offer an interdisciplinary platform for background information, strategies and tactics for threat situations on June 26, 2025. Other topics at the symposium include “The emergency room during a terrorist attack: how to optimize the interface with the emergency services” and “Emergency situations with threats from firearms and explosives – optimizing self-protection with the help of numerical simulations”. The topics of “Triage and casualty management in threatening situations”, “Treatment of blast injuries” and “Large-scale operations with suspected nerve agents” also promise to be exciting info slots . The day before, various info sessions will deal with violent crime and terror threats from the perspective of the emergency services.
