Women in Rescue


One new feature at 112RESCUE 2025 is the Women in Rescue Corner (Booth: 6.G14).. It is a place of exchange for all rescuers and a platform for networking and socialising. Supported by the most important women's networks and exhibitors, you can expect talks, coffee and a children's play corner. You can look forward to seeing Frauen machen Feuerwehr, Netzwerk Feuerwehrfrauen e. V., Höfner Feuerwehrbekleidung, Dräger:in, EinsatzPlus, Sie@vfdb and Pointsmen. We also have a few surprises in store for you.

Application for the

WIR Award - Women in Rescue

The Women in Rescue format is taking place for the third time at the 112RESCUE trade fair. In Hall 6 there is the WIR Corner - a place for meeting and networking. The objective is the visibility, appreciation and parity of women in rescue and fire services. On Saturday (28 June), the WIR Award will be presented on the Main Stage in Hall 6 from 12:00 noon. An honour for an outstanding personality for their courage, dedication and commitment in the field of rescue and emergency response.


An exemplary commitment or achievement should be honoured. This should serve as an inspiration for all.


The WIR Award, which comes with a cash prize of 500 euros, recognises achievement and contribution to society. The award should also serve as a role model for others to become actively involved in society.


The nomination phase has ended. The award winner will be announced on Saturday, 28 June 2025, from 12:00 noon on the Main Stage in Hall 6. State Secretary Dr Daniela Lesmeister will present the WIR Award.
