New highlight at 112RESCUE: Rescue Robotic Days of the German Rescue Robotics Centre at the Dortmund trade fair for the first time
At the special exhibition, suppliers will present a wide range of drones and robotics solutions. An accompanying specialist programme with lectures, product presentations and expert panels will also take place live on stage. Trade visitors will learn about the latest research findings, numerous examples of best practice and new user expertise, among other things.
The centrepiece of the Rescue Robotic Days is the action area, which simulates relevant deployment scenarios - robotic systems on the ground and in the air - in a realistic environment: CBRN (chemical, biological, radiological and nuclear hazards) and other operational areas such as collapses, car accidents, searching for people and reconnaissance are impressively presented here. A special obstacle course will also demonstrate the capabilities of ground robotics and drones. There will also be a competition to expertly assess the precision of different types of drones. The award ceremony will take place on the last day of the trade fair.
The Rescue Robotic Days offer an excellent opportunity to familiarise yourself intensively with this specialist field of rescue, to get to know new products and to talk to each other at a get-together. By organising this side event, the DRZ, as an innovation and transfer centre, is underlining its focus and technical expertise in getting robotic systems ready for practical use.
