Dortmund, 13 January 2023 – A mix of renowned manufacturers and suppliers will be presenting their goods and services to decision-makers in the fire and rescue services, emergency response and civil defence sectors at the new 112RESCUE trade show between 14 and 17 June 2023. The increase in extreme weather situations and technological progress constantly pose fresh challenges to fire services, civil defence and rescue forces. This all services to make the new interdisciplinary information event and buyer-meets-seller platform – featuring leading-edge technologies, up-to-the-minute products and materials, and plenty of space for dialogue and interaction – indispensable for this key industry. The target audience includes those involved in municipalities, support services, science and research, further education and vocational training. The patron of the annual 112RESCUE show is Herbert Reul (CDU), Minister of the Interior of the German State of North Rhine Westphalia.

Great suppliers with a wide range of products

Suppliers at the show will include Weber Rescue, a leading manufacturer of hydraulic and pneumatic rescue equipment and systems, and Carl Henkel with high-quality equipment for extreme rescue operations. Fire safety specialist BTL Brandschutz which supplies fire departments will present a proposition ranging all the way from clothing to fire engines. Dräger – the medical and safety equipment specialist represented in over 190 countries – will also be presenting an extensive range of products for fire departments, rescue services and government agencies, and Hestomed-Helbig will be bringing along a full range of emergency medicine and first aid products.

The RESEARCH & FUTURE innovation hub at 112RESCUE will offer a major platform to leading research institutes, start-ups and forward-looking businesses across all major branches of public safety and emergency response. Short talks, round-table discussions and interviews comprising content and demonstrations and exhibits will focus on flood prevention and fire safety as well as the latest trends and research output of interest to rescue services.
