112RESCUE 2025: Future technologies for rescue, civil protection and medical technology
Top-class exhibitors showcase the latest trends in rescue services, rescue robotics and modern emergency vehicles
112RESCUE will take place in the Dortmund Exhibition Centre from 26 to 28 June 2025. The trade fair is the central meeting place for fire protection, rescue services, disaster control and civil protection. It presents a comprehensive range of innovative solutions for civil protection and medical technology. A special highlight will be the opening of the trade fair with presentations on rampage and threat situations.
Dortmund, 20 June 2025 – Numerous exhibitors, from established manufacturers such as Stryker to up-and-coming start-ups such as Optic Barrier, will be presenting forward-looking technologies. The focus will be on current trends in medical technology, rescue robotics and technical innovations relating to emergency vehicles and the construction of fire stations. At the opening of the trade fair on Thursday (26 June 2025), lectures are expected on the recent rampage at a school in Graz (2025), the terrorist attack in Solingen (2024) and the Hamas attack (2023). The contributions will be made from the perspective of the rescue organisation United Hatzalah.
Strong range of medical technology in Hall 4
On all three days of the trade fair, 112RESCUE will be presenting an impressive range of medical technology. Exhibitors such as
Regina Lange Medizintechnik,
Hum,
IP Heater,
Intersurgical,
Notarztbörse,
INM Arnsberg,
BAK Mettmann, Stollenwerk and
Dahlhausen will be showcasing a diverse selection of solutions and products from all areas of medical technology. New this year, with their own stands for the first time, are
the medical device manufacturer
Stryker and
the aid organisation for civil protection and disaster relief of private rescue services in North Rhine-Westphalia (HBK e.V.).
Modern decontamination systems for everyday use
The
outdoor area of 112RESCUE also offers important insights into current challenges in civil protection. A central topic here is
decontamination, especially with regard to the increasing
risk of cancer for emergency services due to contaminated environments. The specialist
deconta will present a
modern container vehicle system that offers innovative solutions for effective decontamination on site.
Hall 5: Ideas, inspiration and innovations
Another highlight is the ‘Research & Future’ area with an open stage in Hall 5. Here, start-ups, research institutions and technology providers showcase current developments, ideas and products in direct exchange with the trade audience. Complementing the varied supporting programme are exhibitors such as
Synch from Israel and
Wikutec, who will be focusing on forward-looking approaches. An interesting new addition this year is the Austrian start-up
Optic Barrier, which will be presenting an innovative privacy screen system for safety-related applications.
Also appearing for the first time at 112RESCUE in Hall 5 is the RHOT rescue and tracking dog unit from Bochum-Essen. Visitors will have the opportunity to learn more about the training, areas of application and important role of search dogs in civil protection – complemented by impressive demonstrations by the unit.
German Rescue Robotics Centre
Innovative solutions in the field of
rescue robotics will be presented by the
German Rescue Robotics Centre (DRZ) and its partner companies, including
Eurocommand,
Telerob, Angatec and
Alpharobotics. The focus will be on autonomous ground and air robot systems that efficiently support and relieve rescue services in reconnaissance and emergency situations. Live demonstrations will take place in the areas for flight and ground robotics.
Another focus of the trade fair will be on technical rescue: in the outdoor area, Weber Rescue will demonstrate realistic rescue scenarios and state-of-the-art rescue technology on a specially constructed crash site. The programme will be enhanced by Dräger, which will present advanced systems for technical assistance in Hall 5.
Focus on forward-looking technologies
In the field of
traffic safety, the
German Traffic Safety Council (DVR) is focusing on modern approaches on the forecourt of the Dortmund Exhibition Centre. In the emergency vehicle segment, visitors can expect to see numerous well-known manufacturers and converters, including
LUEG, Desautel, GSF, WISS, Schlingmann, elbe Sonderfahrzeugbau and
BTL, who will be demonstrating their latest developments.
Iturri is bringing a product premiere to the trade fair: the Paderborn fire brigade's electric truck. Technology company
MiniTec is presenting a newly developed roll container that has been specially designed for off-road use.
Construction and planning of fire stations – meeting place for experts in Hall 6
In Hall 6, visitors will find a central point of contact for everything related to the planning and construction of fire stations. Among those present will be
Alpgate,
Safe Fire House,
divera and the construction company
Bremer, all of whom have experience in the field of functional and application-oriented buildings. A highlight in this hall is the dedicated ‘Info Point Feuerwehrhäuser’. The info point offers the opportunity for meet & greets with renowned architects such as
Kempen & Kleinheyer,
Gaus and
Stefan Meidl from the Munich Fire Brigade. The topic will be explored in more depth on Friday morning during various panel discussions on the Main Stage.
