112RESCUE 2027 scheduled: trade show takes place in Dortmund from June 10 to 12
Trade show brings fire safety, rescue and civil defence together again.
The date for 2027 has been set: From June 10 to 12, 2027, the trade show for fire safety, rescue and civil defence will once again take place at Messe Dortmund. It is the central meeting place for the rescue industry in the heart of North Rhine-Westphalia, the federal state with the highest density of professional and factory fire departments.
Dortmund, January 28, 2026 – 112RESCUE will once again bring together the players in civil emergency response at Messe Dortmund in 2027. Trade visitors can look forward to three days of innovations, practical solutions, and exchanges on all aspects of fire protection, rescue services, and disaster and civil protection.
With its fourth edition in 2027, 112RESCUE continues its successful course. Last year, more than 90 percent of respondents said they wanted to come back to the next event. The high level of satisfaction reflects the importance of the trade show as a platform for the entire industry. "Current disasters and crisis events clearly show how important it is to have an efficient and well-connected civil emergency response system. It is precisely because of these growing challenges that an interdisciplinary platform such as 112RESCUE is indispensable for pooling knowledge, strengthening cooperation, and ensuring long-term operational readiness," says Sabine Loos, Managing Director of the Westfalenhallen Unternehmensgruppe.
In addition to the high technical relevance for the emergency services, the conceptual partner also emphasizes the special significance of 112RESCUE. "We can clearly see the central role that the trade show plays for the entire industry. It brings emergency services, industry, science, and volunteers together in one place, promotes the exchange of information on current developments and innovations, and makes forward-looking solutions immediately tangible. 112RESCUE has established itself as an indispensable platform within a very short time," emphasizes Christoph Schöneborn, Chief Executive of the Verband der Feuerwehren in NRW e.V. (VdF NRW, the Association of Fire Brigades in North Rhine Westphalia).
The focus is once again on relevant topics, operations during extreme weather events, rescue robotics, digitization at control centers, the construction and planning of fire stations, tactical situations in rescue services, and the future of emergency care.
